      Driver's Defrief after Oschersleben:

"After Adelaide's showing, I came to Oschersleben in high motivation to fight for a podium again. And after qualifying, I was confident I could do so. Best of the rest behind the german cars, I was just one second away from Tangofoxx, and things looked promising.

When the SC pulled into the pits, Paul who was second behind Tango, forgot to accelerate and I was on his outside into turn 1 and could jump into 3rd if I wanted, but with a high chance of contact to happen if I tried to do so, I let Paul back past and jumped into 4th, ahead of Ryo. For the next couple of laps, I was with Paul and Speedylu, but then my tyres started to gradually loose grip, and Ryo started to close on me as I lost contact with the leaders. After a brief fight with Ryo, I dropped to 5th, and started thinking what to do regarding strategy.

Suddenly, a SC was called just as I was entering the final sector, and I decided to pit for the hard tyre, trying to do a 1 stop to the end. Paul had the same idea, but both of us got hampered by not catching the safety car, and ended up still 10 seconds behind Tango, Speedy, Ryo and ryant, who had not pitted.

So, when the top 4 finally pitted, I kept 4th place, but what I didn't realise was that the cars behind me, both Ryo and ryant, were on the much faster soft tyre. Ryo was around 10 seconds behind me, and then I ruined my race by spinning in the chicane, and Ryo passed me. So now, I was stuck on these hard tyres, which had no grip, and now were cooked from the spin. And it got worse, when Ryant catched me, and passed me for 5th. In this fight, I'm sorry to what happened between ryant and Waghlon. When ryant was on my splistream, we came to lap Waghlon, and I tried to get a bit of toe from Waghlon to defend and turned the car to the right and then immediatelly to the left, and ryant didn't spot Waghlon and just crashed into him... I'm really sorry. Ryant passed me afterwards, and when it seemed 6th place would be our result, Ryant made a mistake into the final sector and I repassed him and hanged on for 5th place, and victory in ProAM once again."

      Driver's Debrief after Adelaide:

"Sadly, only one of us showed up for the season opener, at Australia, in the Adelaide Circuit. But even so, the weekend went good for me!

Qualifying was a bit hard though. I had done a low 1:30 during FP2, but couldn't leave the 1:31's come the qualifying session, and would line up 6th in the grid as the top Pro AM driver.

I made a good start, and got around the outside of ryant before turn 1, and then took advantage of an incident between Speedylu and Fjoehkie to pass them both into 3rd place. I got a bit over-excited and broke a bit too late into turn 3 and almost collected both Tango and Paul in the process.. But I saved the car and placed myself behind them as the first SC period happened when Andy crashed early on. The SC come in, and the pitstops period began, with Fjoehkie pitting first from the top 4.

Now, the team's strategy for me was a supposed 1 stop, for the hard tyres at around lap 12-13, but I decided to overfuel the car on the start in case we saw the chance that we could get away with a 1 stop on the soft tyre. And when the two leaders pit, and I was ahead of them, I saw the chance. Right after Tango passed me for the lead, Bene crashed, and a SC was deployed. This meant I got a free pitstop on the leaders, and I made the switch to the softs, and came out in 4th place. After a hard restart, where Klaasa holded both me and Fjoehkie up for a while, I attacked FJ into the hairpin and got through... but FJ didn't give up, and at the next corner send one down my inside, and locked up his rears. I got forced wide and my right rear touched the wall on the exit, slicing the tyre. I got a puncture, and was forced to pit again.

Came out still in 4th, and ran the rest of my race there, never losing too much time to the leader of the race, except when I spinned the car just 10 minutes from the race end.

Disappointed, since a podium would've been on the cards easilly, and with our strategy, we maybe could've finished 2nd... At least, we won the Pro AM class, setting a grand slam: pole position, fastest lap and leading every lap of the race. We'll come back stronger at Germany"

Miguel was known during the first season for his agression on track, even though by the end of the season, he had improved in that aspect.
Early on, it seemed Miguel could be an outside bet for the title, as he was second in the championship after the first two rounds. In the first race of the season, in the A1 Ring, he almost won the race, but for a tactical blunder regarding fuel in his stop, and he eventually finished in 5th place. While in Zandvoort he wasn't on pace, Miguel his first podium of the year, by driving reliably: while everyone else found problems, Miguel drove conservetelly and finished 2nd, just 7 seconds adrift from Paul, after a late mistake by the champion.

Having missed Bathurst, Miguel returned in the Hungaroring, and qualified in 4th place. A mistake during the formation lap saw him lock up and loose the rear, which meant that the race hadn't started, and he was already in deep trouble. Miguel struggled early on with pace, and spinned again, beeing forced to pit with flatspotted tyres. Miguel then drove a really good race from then on. By pulling great moves throughout the field, and by strategy, he eventually found himself in 4th place, but was overtaken by Jihardy with just a couple of laps to go, while struggling with tyre wear. Miguel missed Surfers Paradise, he returned in one of his favourite tracks: Interlagos. Having qualified 4th (moving up to 3rd after Paul was forced to start from pitroad), Miguel was looking for his second podium. But faith wasn't with him that race. He lost the rear through the middle sector, and fell to last place. After pulling a brave move on SportingNonsense around the outside, the portuguese driver suffered a disconnect, and his race was over. This would replay at Melbourne, where he was running 2nd at the time, loosing again a chance of a podium. Monza was a race to forget, as Miguel qualified last and retired after rolling his car in turn 1 (much due to his computer having died and he was playing with a old computer which had FPS problems).

Thus, came the final 5 races of the season. With his computer back, Miguel lined up in Zolder in 8th place, one of his lowest qualifying positions of the year. After a good start, he got touched by Andy, and dropped behind to 8th, and a great fight between the german and the portuguese began, with Miguel eventually passing him and going to run a strategy race to finish in 6th place. COTA was one of the interesting tracks of the year, as the gaps in qualifying were quite big. Miguel qualified in 4th place, 2.5 seconds off Speedylu's pole time. Miguel made a good start, and took the lead at the end of the first lap when Speedylu came into the pits. Eventually though, Miguel made a mistake and while fighting Paul for position, tagged the german and spinned. He eventually finished in 5th place. Having missed his home-race in Algarve, he returned for the only speedway of the season, Pocono. While his 1 lap pace wasn't great, qualifying in only 9th place, the portuguese driver race pace was strong: he eventually finished in 4th place. But the best was saved for last, and for Laguna Seca.

Miguel's pace during practice seemed quite decent compared to the other tracks, and he lined up in 4th place on the grid, 1.7 seconds adrift from Speedy, but according to him, his lap was far from perfect. Due to TMM's penalty regarding the incident at Pocono, Miguel lined up in 3rd, behind the championship leader and Speedylu. A good start saw him overtake Paul into turn 1, and he moved into 2nd place, and embarked in a fight for the lead between him and Speedylu, until the pitstop phase. Speedylu pited first, and Miguel answered the next lap, giving Paul the lead. When Paul pitted, he came out behind the leading duo, who were still fighting, and Paul and TMM came to the fight. Speedylu pitted again, while Paul overtook Miguel and took the lead. After TMM got a move into the middle sector, Miguel lined up the move through the Corskcrew and went for it, losing the car on the downhill portion, and spinning down into 4th place, behind Jihardy. Miguel recovered and passed him, getting his second podium of the season. For the final race of the season, Miguel qualified in 8th place, and retired after rolling his car. He finished in 9th place in the driver standings.
