Press Conference after Spa

Reporter: First of all, congratulations for the 7th win this season. Very nice to see you back on 1st position.

Speedylu: Thank you!

Reporter: As we could see, you won this race with a good gap to your opponents. Can you explain to us why you are so strong at normal races but fail at the endurance races, because you won the last five normal races?

Speedylu: Good question, but hard to answer. It was clear to see we struggled at both endurance races. Pace was good in Le Mans, but we failed with the strategy and this ruined the victory. At normal races, the strategy isn't that much important as at the long races and the pace is more crucial. I think the last normal races showed that we have the best package at the moment. I'm feeling good with the car and the team.

Reporter: When you feel good with the car and team, would you consider to stay at Manthey Racing for next season?

Speedylu: I hope Manthey Racing wants me to race for them next season, but I can't promise anything. For Zolder the team planned some testing for next season, maybe they will show the new car and livery there.

Reporter: Interesting to hear and hopefully some good news for the next weeks. The last weeks were quite hard for you, aren't they?

Speedylu: Yeah, they were hard.

Reporter: Due to the DQ in Le Mans you can't become Champion on your own now, are you still motivated to win?

Speedylu: As we saw in Spa, I am. I want to win all races this season to set Paul23 and Tangofoxx under pressure and I want to show that I am the best driver out here. You should definitly count with me. Becoming champion isn't my main goal anymore. As I said, I want to win all races from now on.

Indianapolis 

Reporter: Congratulations for your third Win. Can you say something about the race?

Speedylu: Thank you. We didn't expect that win, but we'll take it of course. Qualifying showed that our pace was too slow to win this race, but in the Race the car was fantastic. Could overtake Paul at the start and Tangofoxx 3 laps later. After that I controled the race and it was quite fun. I want to repeat the result next race at my favorite track. Road Atlanta we will come!

Singapore 

Reporter: Speedylu, can you give us a quick information about your penalty?

Speedylu: Yeah... I got a 5 second penalty so I moved from P1 to P2, but it was ok. The accident was my fault for sure.Nevertheless it is sad to lose my first victory.

Reporter: How went the race for you?

Speedylu: We had a good pace the entire weekend, but Tangofoxx went crazy in qualifying and took pole. P2 was good too. Nearly got crashed out by Miguel at the start. After Tangos pitstop I fought with Paul for victory. We both had less grip and slithered around the track most of the time. I think there is need to improve tires. We won't see the Primes in normal strategy and the Option lasts too long. Normally you shouldn't be able to do a one pit strategy with the Options.

Adelaide 

Speedylu: Unfortunately my Engine cought fire at the end of the long straight in lap one, so my race ended right there. The car didn't feel good the entire weekend which was noticeable in Qualifying- and Race-pace. I had way too much oversteer and was slithering too much in the 90° corners. I hope Oschersleben will suit our car better than the Street Curcuit. We have much work to do before the next race.
